Elle Evans Sustainable Swimwear Look book “Luna Scape” SS2014/2015
Elle Evan’s latest collection is inspired by something celestial; crescent moons, circular patterns, an eclipse and even the craters of the moon’s surface feature as patterns and shapes on each original swimsuit design. The Elle Evans Sustainable Swimwear label strives for low-impact and innovative designs, with a focus on “fit, style and detail”. Elle’s sustainable swimwear is made entirely from postconsumer waste fabrics, which are remnants discarded by larger companies and destined for landfill. All of her designs and manufacturing happens right here in Melbourne and most of her fabric and trims are also sourced from local suppliers.
As Ellie Rhodes is one talented chic, she even had an article featured on her in the Spring 2014 issue of Slow Magazine which also included some images from our shoot. If you would like to read the article and see some of my photography you can pick up a copy of Slow from your local newsagency.
As summer is just around the corner I’m sure everyone will be running around looking for new bathers! So if you’re looking for a divine and unique bikini to channel your inner mermaid and which will also help out the environment, then you should definitely check out the entire “Luna Scape” range at www.elleevansswimwear.com.au
