Welcome to my very first Photography Blog Post!

Welcome to my photography blog, I’m so glad you’ve found me. Yes, I know it’s 2014 and I finally have a blog. Better late than never right?

For my first blog post, I thought I would start off sharing a favorite image from an editorial shot late last year. With starting a new year a lot has changed for me and my photography in 2014. I have started the New Year with fresh ideas and a strong mindset, while aiming to surround myself with supportive friends, family and alliances within the fashion industry. My photography work is now taking a new and more ‘mature’ appearance, while developing my editorial portfolio extensively. I am re-branding my business with a new website, blog, promotional material and taking everything more seriously. I am now more focused on building up my business and I am predominantly shooting fashion, beauty and commercial photography.

This first blog post is to celebrate the launch of my new website, thanks to the fabulous Nicole Herrick. I have also been busy building up my social media pages such as Instagram, Youtube, Twitter and Pinterest. You can now find all the links to these site on my website and don’t hesitate to add me! I’m not much of a blogger, but my website designer suggested it would be a great idea. I have been known to stay up until 2 am looking at ridiculously expensive shoes online so instead I have decided to make the most of my time updating and sharing my experiences on this blog.

Since I love all things photography, I have decided I will attempt to do a couple of “How to” Photoshop demonstrations with before and after screen shots of my work. I will also be keeping you all up to date on my current photography work, including videos and behind the scene shots from recent photo shoots. I will also share all my adventures from exciting Melbourne fashion and photography events I will be attending this year. The more I think about blogging about my photography journey the more excited I become about keeping an on-going collection of what an average day in the life of Pantomime Photography looks like. I hope to provoke and inspire each of my viewers by fearlessly putting on display what these two eyes and a camera combined produce from the changing world around me.

Please feel free to suggest anything you would like to know about my business and the photography or fashion industry in general and I will try my best to give you helpful feedback. Also remember to subscribe to my blog so you can see the rest of the Pantomime Photography story unfold.
